42° North

True to our roots

Returning to where it all began.

42 North is more than our name. It's the latitude of Boston, the city where 42 North Dental was founded nearly 50 years ago.

Our founders attended dental school in Boston and our move to 99 Summer Street brings us back to the city that helped shape our story.

Boston is known for firsts, healthcare innovation, and forward momentum. As we open The Hub, we’re honoring our roots while creating a modern home base for what comes next.

Home Office becomes The Hub

The Hub

A fresh name for the center of connection.

Boston is known as The Hub. With our home base now in Boston, we’re embracing that idea in a way that reflects the role our teams play every day.

The Hub is where departments connect, collaborate, and provide growth support to the organization. We know this change will take some time to stick, but it gives us a forward-looking way to describe the role of our team in what comes next.

The Hub & Work Model

What is The Hub?
The Hub is the new name for Home Office. Boston is known as The Hub, and our office will serve as the center of collaboration, connection, and growth support for our organization.
Are we still calling it Home Office?
During the transition, you may hear both names. Over time, The Hub will become the new name for our Home Office.
What does hybrid mean?
Hybrid means team members are not expected to be in the office every day unless their role requires it. The Hub is available as a resource for collaboration, meetings, connection, and focused work. When working remotely, team members are expected to have their cameras on during meetings, and follow the 42 North Dental dress code policy.
How often can team members use the office?
Team members can generally use The Hub as needed. If your role requires a permanent seat, please talk with your manager.
Is there a dress code?
Team members are required to dress appropriately for their audience, especially in a prominent Boston location and professional office setting. What you wear directly shapes how visitors perceive 42 North Dental. Aim for attire suitable for meetings with vendors, partners, or colleagues. While we value a business casual culture, it should always reflect the polished image of 42 North Dental. Not permitted: stained, frayed, or revealing clothing; ripped or torn jeans; shorts or miniskirts; see-through or midriff-baring tops; tank tops, tube tops, strapless, halter, or backless tops; team logo shirts (including retro styles); hoodies; sweatpants, sweat suits, jogging suits, or athletic wear. Hats may not be worn inside the office. Consult the employee handbook on Northstar
