Boston, MA – Nov 14, 2016 – Great Hill Dental in Peabody today presented a charitable contribution check for $3,000.00 to the Haven from Hunger. The donation money was generated through Great Hill Dental Partners participation in the 18th annual Smiles for Life Campaign, which ran from March to June 30th this year.

While Smiles for Life is a national charitable organization, Great Hill Dental Partners also partnered with local charities. The Peabody office partnered with Haven from Hunger, a non-profit that helps families and individuals in need make ends meet by providing emergency food, community meals, and more.
“We’re proud of our Peabody office team that donated their time and expertise for this cause”, said Michael Scialabba, CEO at Great Hill Dental Partners.
“We feel it’s important to be active and involved with both national charities, and local charities in the communities we serve. Haven from Hunger provides a variety of much needed services for those in need in the Peabody community, as well as Lynnfield and Salem. It’s been an honor to help them continue their good work,” he said.

About the Haven from Hunger
Food Pantry – Our food pantry provides over 1,800 households with fresh fruits and vegetables, meat, diary, and canned goods. Last year, we distributed enough food for close to 600,000 meals.
Community-Meals Program – Our community-meals program offers guests a filling, nutritious supper in a friendly atmosphere four nights a week. Last year, we served over 9,000 suppers.
Summer Meals for Kids – In addition, we provide free summer meals to low-income children. This year, we served close to 4,000 lunches to children in need.
